San Luis Obispo

Founded by Father Junipero Serra in 1772, San Luis Obispo is one of California’s oldest communities. With its unique natural beauty and delightful downtown, San Luis Obispo is a great place to live, work and visit. The City has 44,000 residents, and is located eight miles from the Pacific Ocean, midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles at the junction of Highway 101 and scenic Highway 1. Pictured below are a few of San Luis Obispo's favorite landmarks and events.  Starting on the left is the famous bubble gum alley, located downtown near the intersection of Garden and Higuera.  Secondly is the Fremont Theater which is located downtown on Monterey St.  Lastly is the San Luis Obispo Thursday night Farmers Market where you will find fresh fruits and vegetables as well as some delicious central coast barbeque.
